What is RRB J E?

RRB-JE: Railway Recruitment Board (R R B) conducting junior engineer Exam in across India. Whereby full fill the J E, JE(IT), DMS, CMA post in different departments. In other words, RRB-JE can be a great opportunity for engineering students. Which are looking for a junior engineer job in Indian Railways?

R R B Application Form

The RRB-JE Online Registration Form will be started. When the railway board will release notification. Hence, Registration for the RRBJE exam can start in March 2020. All candidates can apply online form for Railway JE 2020 Exam within a time period of one month. The J E 2020 exam application fees are Rs.500 for the unreserved category and Rs.250 for the SC / ST / PwD / EWS.

RRB J E Eligibility Criteria

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRBs) is recruited for the vacant posts of Junior Engineer. Similarly, recruit in Depot Material supervisor (DMS), CMA post. Therefore, candidates wishing to apply should ensure that they meet the minimum eligibility criteria specified by RRBs:


As per RRB junior engineer exam eligibility with respect to nationality. The candidate should belong to the following categories:

  • Citizen of India
  • A subject of Nepal
  • A subject of Bhutan

A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962 to settle permanently in India.
A person of Indian origin who has moved permanently to India. And go to Pakistan, Burma, East African countries Kenya, etc.

Age Limit:

Candidates, age should be between 18-33 years for Junior Engineer, DMS, Chemical & MA. See the table below for more information.

Upper age limit / maximum upper age relaxation for different categories/communities.

  • SC / ST: 5 years

Relaxation in the RRB JE age limit will be applied as per the submission of the necessary certificate.

Educational Qualification:

Generally qualification for the junior engineer has a degree & diploma in engineering. But RRB-JE takes an also diff qualification. Therefore, Candidates should possess the qualifications as follows table below:

Medical fitness:

In order to fulfill the Railway J E eligibility, the candidates have to pass the Physical Efficiency Test conducted by the Railway Administration to ensure that they are medically fit to perform the duties associated with the post they have chosen.

RRB JE Admit Card

The Railway Recruitment Board will release RRB JE Admit Card before two weeks (15 Days) of the RRBJE exam date. And RRBJE admits card is released for each stage of the exam separately. RRB JE Cut off

RRB J E cut off marks are the minimum marks required to pass the Junior Engineer exam. And become eligible for the next stage of the exam process. RRB-JE cut off marks depend on three major factors.

RRB-JE Interview

In the railway junior engineer exam, No has the interview. Because of RRB’ official notification for that, In the JE exam no have the interview process. Hence, the junior engineer selection base on 2 stage exams. First, have objective type & second is descriptive type.
